I have been a professional illustrator and designer for the past 25 years.
Yikes! Twenty-five years. Where has the time gone?
I have to say, the illustrator part started much earlier than that, like most folks with an artistic “bent”, I begin doodling the moment I could manipulate a crayon.
In my professional career, I have explored other illustration styles, and have followed that path to the style you see today on this web site. It is my most basic and natural approach to expressing how I visualize the world around me. Simplicity, it’s tougher than it looks.
I was educated in Graphic Design and Illustration at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, and I continued my education at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Early in my career, I worked in-house as an art director at the Cabbage Patch Kids and at several advertising agencies before opening my own studio, which I have owned and operated as a freelance illustrator and designer for the past 15 years.
During these years, I am pleased to have worked with many great clients such as McGraw Hill Publishing, The San Diego Zoo, and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville.
